AIT was one of nineteen educational institutions from around Thailand invited to join the Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy (CRMA) Education Exhibition 2008 on 12 November in Nakhon Nayok, Thailand.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand presided over the opening ceremony of the event organized to promote public awareness of knowledge derived from research in engineering, science, social sciences, and the military. Special emphasis was placed on exhibitors displaying applications of their research in solving real world problems.

The two-day exhibition displayed research activities conducted by the CRMA students and faculty, and the collaborative research undertaken between CRMA and Thailand’s Ministry of Defense and other national ministries. HRH Princess Sirindhorn also delivered a special lecture on the importance of research towards education.
