Dr Mukul Kulshrestha joins as Visiting Professor

Prof. Mukul Kulshrestha has joined the Aquaculture and Aquatic Resource Management program as visiting faculty member. He has been seconded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India to the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) for the August 2017 semester.

Prof. Mukul Kulshrestha


Prof. Kulshrestha serves as a Professor in Environmental Engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering, National Institute of Technology, MANIT-Bhopal, India.

He holds a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering and an M.Tech in Environmental Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from IIT, Delhi.

At AIT, he will be teaching the course on Wetland Ecosystem Management (ED71.37).
 
His research interests include water and wastewater, water sector reforms and policy, solid waste management, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), infrastructure utility performance measurements, and exploration of linkages between the food and climate change.
